I didn&#039;t pick up on the abortion implications; as I read the story, I kept thinking that &quot;operation&quot; referred to some military or spying operation! So I thought they were like a &quot;Mr. and Mrs. Smith&quot; kind of couple, doing assassinations for one of the world wars. Silly, huh?]]></description>

It looks so short I wonder if I will have anything to say about it (I&#039;ll come back later to read your post in full)...I have only read The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway...and that was in school!!  I guess I should really read a tad bit more than just this short story?  Well, it&#039;s a start!]]></description>
