Say that ten times fast!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted kitten photos. They are now seven months old. When we took them for neutering a few weeks ago we found out Dickens (the black one) weighs 8 pounds already! Waldo weighed in at 7.1 pounds. When we brought them home back in June, they were just over three pounds. How they have grown! They are frequently naughty but make up for it by being sweet and cuddly and funny. Dickens likes to play fetch. Waldo likes to crawl into things which prompted me to take some pictures recently.
Where’s Waldo? There is usually a towel at the backdoor to wipe off the dog’s feet. Waldo loves the towel.

Waldo has made friends with the dog’s stuffed toys.

We had to buy a new bird feeder because the squirrels knocked it down and broke it. We got one that the squirrels supposedly can’t get into. It says nothing on the box about cats.

Dickens loves to look out the big window at the front of the house.

I hope everybody has a great weekend!
I love them! Does Waldo share his box with Dickens? When Ellie had a box she wouldn’t let the other cats come near it. (They pretended they were too good for boxes anyway).
Very nice! Looks like you have many happy years of playing “Where’s Waldo?” ahead of you.
You can never have enough cute cat posts I say. Waldo looks like the naughtier of the two. And why is it they love to crawl into or under things. Mine manage to get under the comforter on my bed during the day when I am at work. I can always tell when one of them has snuggled in. They also enjoy laying on clothes and shedding as much hair as they possibly can! Great photos!
They are precious, Stefanie! I love them.
Clearly Waldo has a fondness for “The Dog”; feeling a need to get close to the towel and toys. (Or perhaps, it is a catty dominance issue: “Even the towel used to wipe your feet could be mine if I so choose… bwahaha!)
I find that cat pictures always get a boost at our photo society meetings. Everybody loves cute cats – even animal haters.
Lovely, so cute. This reminds me of when we had a cat and a dog – the cat wouldn’t come in the house when we first had the dog, but eventually they used to curl up together to go to sleep.
The cats thank you for all the nice things you’ve said about them
Susan, Waldo does not share his box with Dickens. Sometimes he shares the towel though.
Sylvia, yes, where’s Waldo? has become a common question around the house.
Danielle, you have Waldo figured out. He is the naughtier of the two. He is the mastermind who manages to convince Dickens to get into trouble while he looks on and snickers. That’s pretty funny about your cats and the comforter!
Thanks Literary Feline!
Bikkuri, Waldo is not fond of the dog, it is definitely catty dominance. Dickens on the other hand loves the dog. Unfortunately, the dog is old and Dickens makes him nervous but that doesn’t stop Dickens from trying to worm his way into his heart.
BooksPlease, the dog and our cat prior to the kittens used to curl up together and sleep, but the kittens have too much energy for the dog’s comfort and the only curling up together happens if the dog is already asleep and one of the kittens sneaks up next to him.
Oh my, they’ve gotten so big! I have one that’s still small, whom I’m sure would love to come play hide and seek with Waldo.
Very cute! Hmmm … maybe we should get some kittens …
I can never get enough of your cats. Thanks for posting these – and please, more pictures of Dickens and Waldo! Keep them coming!
My God, Stefanie. They are both gorgeous critters.
I can buy a hundred toys for Jack, but nothing is as fun for him as a plain old BOX!
Often, on the way in from my underground parking, I will pick up a box from the recycling area…. and in the elevator up, I will be thinking, “Oh, Jack is going to go positively mental over this” and I open the door to his plaintive meows, and I throw down the box and sure enough…. in three seconds he is in the thing, peering in and out and frolicking like I had just brought home the Taj Mahal.
When you make the bed and you sort of flap out the sheets, does Dickens or Waldo immediately make it their life goal to get in under there?
This is Jack’s SECOND most favorite thing. After jumping in and out of boxes.
Cats are fun.
Aren’t they just adorable? Now you need to think up a few I Can Has Cheezburger captions to go with those photos!
Emily, they grow so fast. I’m sure mine would love one more to run around with.
Dorothy, thanks. Kittens are fun. Muttboy would love a kitten
Dark Orpheus, thanks! With the holidays coming up, I’m sure there will be plenty of photo opportunities
Cip, thanks! At oour house everything is potentially a toy, especially the things that aren’t meant to be toys! This was their first box and Waldo took to it right away. It’s funny how you can pay a lot of money with a toy your sure they will love and all they really want is a box. Or a towel. There’s a life lesson in there somewhere.
Litlove, LOL. I’m terrible at titles and captions so they won’t be appearing on I Can Has Cheezvurger anytime soon!
Awww, what awesome photos! I love that Waldo has habits that make him perfect for “where’s Waldo?” photos.
So cute! Hope you guys had a great weekend.
Heather, Waldo does make it rather easy to ask where he is. It’s about the only thing in which he is so obliging!
Thanks Iliana! The weekened was very nice.
