I am a bit behind, but Emily included me among her list of I Love Your Blog Awards. It’s my turn to spread the love around.
The rules:
- Add the logo of the award to your blog.
- Add a link to the person who awarded it to you (as shown above).
- Nominate at least seven other blogs.
- Add links to those blogs on your blog.
- Book Girl’s Nightstand–I love hearing about and seeing the results of her bookmaking. And we share a love of Half Price Books.
- Bookpuddle–I go here for my daily bookish quote. Cipriano also never fails to make me laugh with his various stories and adventures, even his hamburger stories make me laugh and I’m vegan!
- Incurable Logophilia–Verbivore has a ten-year reading plan, is reading Nadine Gordimer’s entire oeuvre, and also reads a variety of other interesting books. Plus, she is an American living in Switzerland. How cool is that?
- Wuthering Expectations–If you need a 19th century literature fix, this is the place. Always interesting and insightful.
- Moyen Age–wil is always kind enough to translate the Old English poems he excerpts now and then so I know what the heck they say. And he’s quite a photographer too.
- Of Books and Bicycles–You know how there are a few people whose reading taste is similar to yours that if that person likes a book odds are good that you will like it too? My TBR list has never been the same since Dorothy started blogging several years ago.
- Tales from the Reading Room–Litlove is another one who has made my TBR list grow like Jack’s beanstalk. A marvelous writer and a kind person, I’m still waiting to see her World of Warcraft avatar wearing the lovely purple frock.
There’s also, Danielle and Daphne, and Dark Orpheus and so many others.

Great list! A few of these are new to me, and do so enjoy book blogs.
Oh I am honoured to be on your list, and to be among such fine company. Thank you so much! My son got the Wrath of the Lichking last Thursday and hasn’t spoken to me much, since, but I hope to get a screen shot out of him one of these fine days!
Oh, thank you, Stefanie! I’m thrilled to be on this list. And I’m so pleased to have changed your TBR list
After all, it’s only fair, as you’ve done the same to me … Many thanks!!
Aw, thanks! I will do this, this week! What fun. I can’t read to read these other blogs!
Why, how kind, thank you.
Wow. Thanks Stefanie!
You are very kind to include my name! There are so many wonderful blogs out there it is nearly impossible to choose! I know most on your list, but a few are new to me, so I must check them out!
Great list–three of them are huge staples for me, and I’ll have to put a big effort into checking out the other four. If you like them, I’ll like them.
Thank you so much Stefanie! Although you are going to be so disappointed in me… I didn’t go to Half Price Books to use my 50% coupon on Sunday – the horror! I was just so busy bookbinding and so tired at the end of the day that I figured I could let this one go. Now, I’m questioning my HPB Love but I believe there’s an after Thanksgiving sale or something like that so I’ll try to make it up to HPB
Alyce, book blogs are addictive!
Litlove, how could I not include you? That’s right, your son has been busy
My husband wants the game now. I fear I will never see him again if he gets it.
Dorothy, I guess we are even then
Daphne, it’s always a pleasure visiting your blog.
Amateur Reader, well deserved!
wil, always a pleasure.
Danielle, you are right, it is hard to choose but you are among my favorites
zhiv, what a nice thing for you to say!
Iliana, that’s ok, I don’t always use the coupons either. There’s the Thanksgiving sale and the Christmas sale and new HPB calendars to look forward to!
THIS is a great blog… although I may share different political sentiments.
Anyway… I saw this link today: maybe some of your favs are getting the royal leather treatment?

Admiral, you’re so kind! Thank you. And it’s always good to have different opinions otherwise we’d all be sheep! Those are also very pretty books you linked to.
