On my way over there
Thanks for sharing the link to your interview. I love that you didn’t mind being sent to your room when you were little for a punishment because you would get to read! I would have felt exactly the same way. I’m always interested in how people became readers and what there early reading experiences were so great interview!
great interview.
Very interesting
What a lovely interview – and such a nice idea for a blog!
Kathleen, it was a fun interview to do and who doesn’t like talking about reading when they were a kid? My mom eventually caught on to why I was so willing to go to my room but she could never bring herself to forbid me to read. That really would have been a punishment!
Artswebshow, thanks!
Litlove, thanks! I agree, Carina had a great idea for her blog.
Lovely to get to know you a little more – though I have to say there weren’t really many surprises there! You sound just like the bookworm from scratch we thought you were!
whisperinggums, aw, thanks. My parents and family sealed my bookwormy fate early on
I had a chuckle over being asked to be sent to your room. I wish my family would do that to me now, so I could get in some extra reading time, too! And I’ve tried getting my niece interested in books–splurging on them for her, but she’s only vaguely interested. Maybe she’ll enjoy it more when she is older. Her parents don’t read, but I am sure I read more than enough for all of us.
