Because I got a late start this evening and I want to try and get some homework in before the final presidential debate tonight, here are a few things that might be of interest to you on the web.

The ALA’s magazine American Libraries is now available on the internet to everyone for free. They have archived them as PDFs back to 2003. Woo hoo!

The Illinois Library Association had some fun at their annual conference with Style from the Stacks. Most of the outfits are something only a librarian at a conference would wear but a few I would actually consider. I’m not telling which ones though.

And if you get bored during the debate tonight you can amuse yourself by watching this Colbert Report clip on The Red Lending Menace in which he encourages Americans who want to stem the tide of of communism to check books out from the library and not return them so you have to pay for them like a good capitalist.
