After coming out as trans and starting hormone therapy, 17-year-old Adam feels like he’s finally becoming who he was always meant to be. But when his family moves from Massachusetts to Alabama, Adam has to start all over again in a new school where not everyone knows his story. Trying to fit in becomes even harder when some classmates target him for being different – and make it clear that they don’t want him around. With support from his old friends online and at home, though, Adam slowly begins finding his place in this strange new world. And along the way, he learns something important about himself: He isn’t just transgender; he’s also gay. This revelation opens up whole new avenues of self-discovery that ultimately lead him back into the light after a long period of darkness.” “Ask Me Again” is a powerful and poignant story about identity, courage, and self.
