In 1989, Cooper published “Behold a Pale Horse,” which became an underground sensation. The book has been translated into dozens of languages and is considered a classic of conspiracy literature. Tragically, Cooper was killed by law enforcement officers in November 2001 after they say he opened fire on them during a traffic stop.
