She is the author of more than thirty children’s books, including Howl’s Moving Castle and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Many of her works have been adapted for film or television. Diana Wynne Jones passed away on March 26th, 2011 at the age of 76.
