He has written for magazines such as “Outside” and “Canadian Geographic,” and his work has also appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic Adventure, Men’s Journal, Forbes Life, Reader’s Digest Canada and other publications. His first book was “Lone Rider: A Solo Odyssey Across the Great Divide.” Rustad was born in Toronto, Ontario.
