Nicole Pyland is a queer author, artist, and activist. She spent most of her childhood moving around the US with her family before eventually landing in Los Angeles. There she discovered her love for writing and began telling stories that reflected the world around her. Nicole has written extensively about LGBTQ+ issues, trauma recovery, body positivity, and intersectionality. Her work has been featured in magazines and anthologies both nationally and internationally, and her debut novel, The Gilda Stories, was published in 2001.
