In the Path of Daggers, Robert Jordan returns to the elemental magic and spectacular storytelling that have made The Wheel of Time a global phenomenon. In this new novel in his internationally bestselling series, Jordan confronts head-on the malevolence that has begun to permeate reality itself. Rand is on the run from Moiraine and her allies, seeking refuge with Egwene al’Vere, novice sister of the Brown Ajah. But he finds himself hunted by dark forces far more dangerous than Moiraine: members of an elite group known as The Black Ajah are after him, and theyinclude among their ranks some of Rand’s most deadly enemies. As wickedness gathers around him like fog, Rand struggles to maintain his grip on sanity . . . but it will take all he has just stay alive.
