William Deverell is the author of six novels, including two previous Arthur Beauchamp mysteries, Dead in Bed and Gone to Ground. A recipient of The City of Toronto Book Award and three National Magazine Awards, he has also taught creative writing at the University of Toronto for more than twenty years.
