Rick Riordan’s The House of Hades is a great listen for anyone who loves Greek mythology and adventure. Even those who haven’t read the first three books in the Heroes of Olympus series will find this audiobook an exciting, easy to follow introduction to the characters and plot lines. Fans of Percy Jackson won’t be disappointed – there are plenty of nods to PJO throughout HoH (e.g., Grover Underwood finally makes an appearance!), as well as some new revelations that should keep readers eagerly turning pages (or pressing “play” on their iPod).
