Reader Reviews
“Kudos to Collins for creating a powerful, fast-paced and exciting novel that will leave readers begging for more. In The Hunger Games, 16-year old Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister’s place in the games after she is chosen tributary from their district. If Katniss survives the game, not only does she get to go home alive but also wins food and other essentials for her poor family through sponsorship deals. As was mentioned before, this book is FAST PACED – I read it in 2 days! And man am I glad Collins stuck with writing because now we have an amazing trilogy on our hands!”
