Chris Colfer is a Golden Globe-winning actor best known for his role as Kurt Hummel on the Fox television show Glee. Chris started writing The Land of Stories when he was fourteen years old and finished the first book four days before he graduated high school. About the book The Wishing Spell tells the story of Alex and Conner Bailey, two children who are transported into a world where their fairy tale favorites come to life. Along with their new friends – Goldilocks, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Cinderella, and many more – they set off on an adventure to save this magical land from being taken over by an evil queen.
