Billy Porter is an American actor and singer. He first came to national attention appearing in the Broadway musical Wicked, for which he won a Tony Award. Since then, his stage work has included playing Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway (for which he won another Tony) and starring opposite Denzel Washington in the revival of August Wilson’s play Fences. On television, Porter has had recurring roles on shows such as “Law & Order: SVU” and “American Horror Story”. In film, he starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in the 2017 romantic comedy Second Act.
